528x576 is not a valid resolution.

    PAL DVD resolutions:
    352x288 (MPEG1)
    352x576
    704x576
    720x576.

but to sonic's dis-credit ... thier manual and web site for REELDVD says it only accepts 2 ch AC3 and i believed this to be to case untill i was told it wasnt so .

in other words , sonic not real keen on the facts ..

sonic diddn't write scenarist either , it was Dalkin , and was first written for UNIX (sgi IRIX) and ported to nt4 after a couple years ..

I am really really REALLY pissed off. I am after doing all thsi work on the 528x576... fitcd calls it 3/4 dvd. Its a great res and would be brill as it loses very little quailty and takes a lower bitrate.
