Hi!
I think that I have some problems to convert my AVI file to SVCD, and I'm thinking to buy Adobe Premiere application.
Can anyone tell me how good (or not) Adobe Premiere is?

Premiere is a good video editor .. but a bit overkill to just encode avi to dvd ..
it uses the Main Concept encoder which you can buy alone for a lot less and the stand alone does more ..
or you could use TMPGenc also ...
if you need to edit your avi - then encode ,, i suggest vegas video 3 (soon 4 in a few weeks) which also uses the Main concept encoder ..
