audio and video out of sync

I'm having this problem while using this guide.............................

When I use Goldwave I get this message after I open my mp2 file.
"Cannot dtermine format of file:
Please specify a format below"
My choices are PCM, Telephony, Floating Point, Text.
I've tried it a few times with no luck.

I had the same prob, the movie is moving, but the words aren't in sync with the people right?

You need to download Virtual Dub, go to a search engine and type it in the key word field, its not hard to find and its freeware.

This tool will check your file for "bad" frames. Then you can remove the bad frames and re-save the flick.

This worked for me, and it was easy to use. ANy ?'s ...just hit me back.
