burning avi to VCD

hi all,

I tried burning a CD from AVI to VCD format using NERO 5.5.

I selected VCD format and source as AVI movie.

i don't know what's the prob. after 10-12 hours the process status showing 56 %.

how much time it will take normally converting AVI to VCD format.

to Convert VCD format i need specify Mpeg format etc.

or only Selecting VCD is enought in NERO.

my DVD player APEX AD 1500

please help me guys.

I guess Nero is converting it, not a good thing if you ask many folks around here. You could use TMPG (free) to convert this to a standard VCD and use Nero to burn it. It would help if you listed you computer specs....

Nero is a great burning program but a HORRIBLE encoder!!!

The AVI has probably got junk frames, you need to remove them. But dont use Nero to convert anything.
