Until now , I have been using Tmpgenc to rip the audio and video from avi's. However I got a dvd rip of Monsters inc and TMp would not give me any audio. I followed the help on the web site and got Audiodub...it seemed straight forward...hmmmm
The first half was a success - I got a great mpeg file , (2 cds) , however on trying to decode the 2nd half, it has given me only the video again.
I have subsequently tried it with small clips and even other files...all with the same result...video only. I cannot find any settings in tmp that could be adjusted.
The 2 wave files seem fine when played in isolation.
If it helps
I have follwed the instructions and picked the correct conversion/compression and selected full processing mode.
Please offer some advice..thanks in advance!

Okay, some advice.
Followed WHAT instructions???
Using WHAT software???
If you are certain all settings used are correct, why doesn't it work? Does that not suggest to you that some settings are NOT correct? Perhaps if you detailed what they were, someone might be able to offer some advice on this.
Wave files play fine in WHAT software???? Are you getting my drift yet? I am lost, can you tell me how to get home?
Try this - load audio and video into VirtualDub, test play, if sound, mark out 2-3 minutes and do a test encode. If that works, that verifys the files and encoding are OK, then either the settings used are incorrect or one of the programs is corrupted.
