Ever hear of this one?

ok here's my story. Capped last night's American Music Awards as one big 10 gig avi file. I used the mjpeg codec with a setting of 19. I capped it using the ati mmc which i don't usually cap with, usually i used avi_io but for some stupid reason i tried the ati recorder. Anyways here's the problem, i wake up this morning and go to view what i capped and wouldn't you know it, after i advance past the commercials (2minutes in) the audio is off sync. It seems that for the whole 3 hours it's about 1 second and a half off. Now i've heard many different ways to fix this problem but i'd like to know which is the best-easiest way to correct this? i didn't use any special codec for the audio, just regular i guess pcm is it? Anyone have an easy way to fix this? All help is appreciated
