VOB ID Stream Changer

Hello All,

I am looking for a specific video tool. I need a VOB ID Changer. In other words, sort of a automatic VOBedit tool, that can run threw a VOB, changing the VOB ID Bytes. IFOedit (Authoring) always yields an VOB ID of 1. Does anyone know the exact bytes reserved for the ID? Can a simple Hex editor work for this? Replacing a HEX value in the entire file with the new one? Has anyone tried this? I realize I could reAuthor the file in Scenarist as a Different Title Set, but I am looking for a Freeware solution. Any ideas?, Please let me know.

Well,

I waited a day, and not a single answer to this POST? So, I will answer myself. I needed that tool for a specific problem, and I have figured out a solution. I was interested in a way to FAKE multi-PGC titles, but in a way I had to deepen my understanding of DVD's at the packet level. I have found yet another solution to killing those unused buttons in a DVD backup where you have removed some 'extras but the button in your menu is still there, and on a 'moving menu....what a headache, not any more....

Not to be concided or anything, but this post has shown me that I am probably beyond this forum. I hope you all have enjoyed some of my posts and small cheat's. Later, and happy rippppinnnngggg.
