Hi y'all,
First and foremost, I apologize if this is widely known and maybe I just realized it. I wanted to ask the Nero users among us, if they also, have had difficulty getting Nero 5 w/ TEAC 512EB (12/10/32) to read 90 Minute disks. A few weeks ago, I bought a 25 pack of 90 Minute Melody Disks. When I tried to change the yellow\red markers, I was told to insert a number up to 79 for the yellow. It did allow me to select 84 minutes 30 seconds for the red marker. When I attempted to burn a 82 minute mpg, it stated that the disc did not have enough room. Well, I was changing the settings last night and again enabled overburn. This time I increased (within the expert features tab) to 89 minutes, 30 seconds. Before attempting to burn the file, I received a disclaimer regarding possible disc damage issues due to overburning. I clicked through OK and was successful in burning an 89 minute mpg onto a 90 Minute Melody Disk. Please e-mail me if you have experienced the same.
Specs are as follows:
AMD 750 MHZ
1 30 GB, 1 60 GB drive
128 MBs RAM
TEAC 512EB (12/10/32)
