Still hoping to find a solution.
My MPEG is ok but when I burn a VCD with NERO the audio and video are out of sync.
The framerate of the MPEG is 23.976 fps. Could it be because of only two options PAL and NTSC using NERO? Which maybe causes NERO to encode the framerate standard for PAL (which I need)?

I really don't get this one.

This used to be a headache for me too until I sussed what my dvd player was doing........ My dvd player (Limit dvd9090) requires that the mpg has a sound delay of 500ms for a vcd (but none for an svcd). My mates (pioneer) requires a delay of 250ms...... Try creating a test disc, say 8 30 second tracks with varying delays of 250ms on a cdrw and run it on your dvd to suss out what the sync delay needs to be

    Wow!

Thanx! I didn't know this could even be the problem. I'll certainly try.
    Thanks again for the tip.

Well I've tried, but it won't do any good. Could it be that the 23.976 fps is not appriciated by my DVD player?

I've trying to convert little pieces of the movie to PAL or NTSC also, even with a delay of 250 ms and 500 ms.

Could there be something I do wrong?
