For all those fortunate to have a Sam's Club by you, Maxell 10 Pack DVD+Rs are for $17.36 each. Not sure how good this brand of media is... anybody try these yet?

Don't know about their DVD media, but their CD-R's and video tapes are excellent. In fact we have been using Maxell Broadcast betacam tapes here in BBC NI for the last 6 months without any failures.

The word I here in the forums is the DVD+R is good but the DVD-R is not so good...
Also This deal might be regional because my SAMS club in annapolis Maryland has 12pack of verbatim DVD+R (w/jewelcase) for $24...
I have made several Backups with them both data and movies and they are great...

Maxell DVD-Rs are one of the most shitty discs in the world!
"There is always one more bug."
No bugs at http://www.iGorland.com -
I have confirmed that these disks work well in the Sony DRU-500a with firmware 1.0f. No coasters or DVD player problems out of five disks. Don't wait to buy. Because at a great price at Samsclub, they won't last long. In fact my local Samsclub is out already.
