Nero help needed

I have been burning VCD videos sucessfully for several weeks using the guidlines you provided (thank you for the great directions) however the last 2 days Nero has been giving me the error msg when I hit the write button: "must use a CD-RW or change compilation." I have been using CDRs every time before with no problems with out changing any settings. I even tried this with several new CDRs....but it now wants a CD-RW!?!?! Any advice you can give me to keep using CDRs or do I have to use CD-RWs now? Thanks.

Check the settings, check the burn speed, sounds like its stuck on CDR-W and is not detecting the disk you put in..

When you load Nero, is the CDR already in the drive, if it is leave it out and put it in later, make Nero detect the type of disk your using.
