  1. I am currently using a regular analog tv tuner card which means I have regular cable. I don't know squat about this digital mombo jumbo. I do know that u need a reciever to watch DirectTV shows; a reciever that they give to you (same w/ digital cable, but they can go $#^@$%@&!! themselves).

Here is my question, are there tv cards for that kind of digital tv? That will work w/ DirecTV? Please help.

    Thank You

Yes I think there are, but can't remember any names. If you were in Eupope, then definitely there are. You need a card that will handle QPSK modulated transmissions, which is the type for both DTV and digital cable. Broadcast digital TV uses ATSC, so do not think that an ATSC card will work for you. It would simply be a waste of money. You could also get a DTV "receiver" that has a PVR built in. The hot setup for that is one of the "receivers" that can "record" 2 different channels at once.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?
