Subtitles and Menus

Hi,

I can now copy NTSC DvD-9 to DvD-5 using DvD2DvD-R, Pulldown, ChaptorXtractor, DvDMaestro and InstantCD+DvD.

With that I can have multiple soundtracks and chapters. But I also want to include subtitles and a basic menu based on chapters.

Subtitles:

I played with SubRip but it was much more complex than I expected. Is there any tools out there that would be has simple has ChapterXtractor for example?

Menus:

I am looking for a tool that would generate a basic menu based of chapters. Something that would generate a screenshot of the first frame of the chapter and put label chapter 1 for example. A main menu "chapters", "audio language", "subtitles" and "playmovie" would be nice too. I want to keep things has easy has possible so anyone knows a authoring software where I can easely do this?

there is a guide on subrip on doom9.

its very easy once you have set it up, cant go wrong with that guide.
