And another question, My neighbour gave me a movie with a .DAT file, it was vcd, The dvd player i'm about to play have to be so I can watch those movies too!
PLEASE HELP....!
I've seen the PHILIPS DVD633 Do that support all the things I said?
It's not region thing, so I can't see american movies, Is it a hack or whatever it's called to make it region free?

i bought the xv 300 something JVC from circuit city
it plays everything and picture quality is very nice...
but unlike my older apex 600 it doesn't play .mpgs that are just simply burned to disc..ex. music videos.
i do not like this and also the menu system sux
also it doesnt support id3 tags for mp3's
if you can live with this i think it's a nice looking good running dvd player.
p.s. i'm taking mine back because it wont play .mpg files right off the cd -
Philips DVD 634 Is this any good?
Can it do what i asked for?
And is it possible to make it region free?hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
