(Pretty much) followed the directions here: http://www.vcdhelp.com/ATI_AIW_Guide.htm, but had some problems. Most serious are listed first. Please advise:

    1) In the section How to use ATI MMC 7.1 to create VCD 2.0 compliant captures, "44,100 KHz, 16 Bit, Stereo" doesn't even show up as an option. I only get "22.050" KHz options.

I think this is really bad because the guide emphasizes that as "critical"
for VCD Compliance. I captured some video to an MPEG, burned it with Nero Express and it won't play on my Apex 1500. Just sits at the menu.

Please advise. Thank you very much.

Depends on which problem you mean.

VCD Sitting at Menu on DVD Player
Duh. I just had to press the corresponding number and it played.

I would really like to be able to arrow around and hit "Play", but at least it works this way.

Can other people get their home-made VCD's to play on a DVD player (esp. the Apex's) by arrowing around or do they have to press the numbers like I do?

Not Getting "44,100 KHz, 16 Bit, Stereo" Options in ATI MMC

Still can't get this option to appear when capturing to Digital VCR application. I captured at the next highest setting (22,050 KHz, 8 bit stereo, I think), and burned it to VCD using NeroExpress and it sounded fine to me...?
