  1. Hi,

I just downloaded DVD2SVCD, I updated with the patch and have tried it for the first time.

I am using Windows XP Pro (SP1), A Pioneer 16X Slot load DVD drive and Austin Powers Goldmember DVD

I open DVD2SVCD, click on the disc on the Converion tab. A CMD window opens up and then a WINDOWS ERROR message pops up:

auth_call.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close... etc

    The CMD window says:
    D:\Can't loas aspi
    Drive authentication for DOS
    ASPI for NT/2000/Whistler
    Found GetHTL

I click on CLOSE on the error message. The window goes away, the CMD window goes away, and I am left with "Information, Analyzing Video, please wait..."

And nothing happens, it just sits there until it says "Failed to Rip data"
I click on "OK" on the FAILED TO RIP DATA box and the Analyzing Video please wait box still sits there, but now I can click around in DVD2SVCD.

Every now and then, Failed to Rip Data appears. It does this until I use task manager to kill the process.

    Please help, thanks
