First time trying to rip DVD's so excuse me if this appears to be the dumbest thing youve ever read. I am using a Pioneer AO4 and DVD decrypter and can extract to my hard drive. Then I go to DVD2AVI and open the IFo file, then change the output method to "DEMUX" then save project. After saving I get an information box with no info?
It does save a D2v file but when I try to open it with TMPGEnc I get a log saying it is unsupported. I am selecting by clicking "browse" in audio source is this correct I have tried the other two anyway but no luck. It is about here where I become lost. Is there a very simple guide anywhere by simple I mean "step 1 click file, step 2 click open" etc?

in dvdtoavi check decode to wav instead. download headach3 and winrar programs(you'll need winrar to open the headach3 program).run your ach3 audio thru the headach3 program to convert it to wav. then just load the d2v video and resulting wav file into tmpeg and convert as usual. if you have questions about how to use the headach3 checkout the above mentioned site for help. let me know how it goes.
