Has anyone actually made a motion menu that played on a homedeck machine?
I have one now in a project im doing. I have the slider at 0 so that choices appear once the menu starts, I have it looped. The menu itself points to 3 audio tracks, play film, and back to main menu. I have made plenty of still menus with multiple audios with no problem.
Here is what happens, playing it on the pc from the hardrive or burned on a dvd-rw the menu works fine as it is supposed to, but playing it on any homedeck machine I tried, it seems ok, but if you pick any of the 3 audio tracks and you select one the highlight color stays on and does not click off and it is frozen and you cannot do anything else (while the motion part still plays). If I select the play film or back to main buttons those work fine, but selecting the audio on the motion menu does not work.
I then had it set so that the buttons would appear at the end of the motion clip and turned it into a still. What happens then is whatever I select starts the whole menu over again.
I have made motion menus before with other programs and never had a problem; it does seem like a glitch with maestro itself. The machines tried, were the Panasonic dmr-hs2 (dvd recorder), 2 pioneer decks, the apex, and the ps2.
Can anyone offer and info? Thanks again--
