I have just bought a JVC XV-S302SL and because my TV doesn't have a SCART socket, I’ve had to connect it to my VCR first and then to my TV. It has only happened twice so far, but what I assume is the Macrovision Protection thing is causing the picture and sound to deteriorate.
Is there any way that I can stop this from happening? I have heard that some DVD players can be hacked to get rid of it but I can't find a hack for my DVD player anywhere. If there arn't any hacks available, is there any other way that i could connect my DVD player to my TV? My TV only has one socket at the back, and that is the one that the Aerial would usually be connected to (its an old TV).
