How can I identify real burning speed of CD or DVD with Nero ? The number that I see doesn't look like real speed, but selected. I found somthing about regedit and somthing like ShowSingleRecordSpeed (I don't remember exact name) but it didn't work for me. Am I doing somthing wrong ? Any sugestions ?

Open your registry-editor and go to: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ahead\Nero - Burning Rom\Recorder].
Search there for the DWORD ShowSingleRecorderSpeed and change the HEX from 0 to 1.
From now on, Nero shows you the realtime burning-speed.
Make sure you reboot after you do this, just to make sure.
This worked for me on all 3 of my computers. -
I believe that is exactly what I did (WinXP Home) and after I reboot my computer it is 0 again. But I will try it again this weekend.
Thanks. -

if 4x is more then (let's say) 15-17 minutes, why would anybody pay such high price.
