hello, i was wondering if i could burn an installer application or any other file onto my vcd or svcd? Will the vcd(.bin files) Svcd(.img files) still work on a dvd player or does it effect it in some way?
id like to play my vcd/or svcd on the dvd player aswell be able to install software off the disk so it can be played on a computer with that software.
All in one package kind of deal.
Ive waisted allot of cdrs already. i was hoping i might get an answer to save one. thow ive tried to burn a few files which were encoded so bad that the dvd player didnt reconize them and wouldnt play them, but all the good files worked.
Does this mean the dvd player will just ignore the files it dont understand?
if so i could place my movie into toast in order and at the end have the "other files" to work on a computer.
Got the idea from interactive music cds

Yes, you can put other files on a (S)VCD. It's been discussed several times before, and there might even be a howto around. Search the forums.
