  1. Can anyone advise me of a good capture card, to copy my old VHS home movies with ?

I've tried using an (expensive!) WinTV PVR & it is so erratic. I get color bleed, sound sync problems, chirping audio and anemic color.

I need a card that will do none of the above.

Anyone tried the Adaptec card for VHS capture ?

  3. Hi,

I'm using Pinnacle PCTV Pro, and the captures look smashing...before I put them on a DVD...after that, something is very wrong...looks really strange. But that is some other kind of problem.
I'm very satisfied with the Pinnacle card though.
