Ok, dramatic subject... not as exciting problem
I'm converting a DivX that's in 23.97 FPS...
The problem is that I want the XVCD to be in PAL format...
But I get about 1 FPS that's "corrupted"... It frezzes for a little while before continuing to play...
It does this all the time! I've tried most thing you could think about!!!

if by PAL format, you mean a 25fps framerate XVCD, then what you are probably seeing is not a corrupted frame, but the effect of having added a frame to get from 23.97fps to 25fps, which is probably very annoying visually.
just wondering if you could get away with a non-compliant 24fps "PAL" XVCD...

I managed to get this working without any jerking...
The trick was to use a... digital audio editing program... (Soundforge 4.5)
This program is lovely! Not only did I get the 25 FPS i wanted, it was chopping free AND the audio was in Perfect sync!!!
This is a tip I think that most people will enjoy
Kinda fun that a audio program did the trick!
I had to reencode the whole thing though...
