    I've tried the trial TMPGEnc and my Nero encoding software. Both take approximately two hours to do the conversion. Is there a faster program?

    CCE is 'faster'. It's also not free (neither is TMPGenc). Try lowering your precision, it will be a lot faster, but you will also got a lot more artifacts. A single pass CBR, with low precision simply flies! The better the quality, the slower the encode.
