NEED TO CHOOSE ONE - WHICH ONE????? PLEASE HELP

I can got 2 at the same price , Pioneer A04 and Pioneer A05??? which one is better and which one should I choose??
in my place they are same price.

probably the a05.

no doubt the a05 has problems with generic media at this time while the a04 is more compatible with them. but, when 4x media becames cheaper, the a05 will be faster.

that is the concern,
since the 4x media is quite high right now ( I live in canada so stuff way more expensive than you guy pay in US )
My main thing is A05 is newer, faster, but i want to burn at 2X, as I read around here, seem like AO5 only can burn at 1X for cheap media. Anyone has them work for cheap media at 2X like the Ritek or Princo white top ones?

The only media i know that won't work is the ritek 2x ,but there will be a firmware that wil update the drive.The 104 couldn't burn these at 2x either till a firmware update also.

so I have now firmware 1.00 so an updated to 1.21 for A05 would work on ritek 2x without any problems????
I like the A05 better but kind of nervous on the media
