my dad's just bought a dvd/vhs combo player for the living room, I'm trying to talk him into talking it back and getting a player that can record from dvd to vhs and also play the movie files we download, like avi, divx, not just vcd. Perhaps one that can hook up to the home network also- would be even better. What brands are available for such a thing? prices? ideas? thanks!
