    Hey guys, trying to convert Black Hawk Down to fit on a DVD-R, so i needs to re-encode
    ANYWAY, TMPGenc seems to work fine, despite the 60 hours it will take...
    I have a demo of MainConcept, and CCE, and i have heard these are much faster, so i was just wondering, is there a way to load D2V files into these programs? When i try with MainConcept, i get an error, that there is no valid video stream, and with CCE, i get an error about a missing VAF file or something to that effect...
    Any Ideas??

    MainEncoder seems to work good (cept for that little logo thing)
    CCE however, gives me this error...

    vinfo_open() failed: *** Could not open the file <C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\Black Hawk Down_dv2-vfapi.vaf> ***
    The system cannot find the file specified

    [Windows error code: 0x2 2]

    any ideas?

  9. try this:

    install Avisynth(2.07)

    Start up notepad and copy&paste the following lines into it(correct the paths!):

    LoadPlugin("C:\PROGRA~1\DVD2SVCD\MPEG2Dec\mpeg2dec .dll")
    mpeg2source("C:\Terminator\terminator.d2v")
    ResampleAudio(44100)

    After this save as *.avs file.

    then open that file with CCE... its faster method...

    dont use audio part in the CCE!!!

    Zzzzzzzzzz
