I would like to know what's the best MPEG Hardware realtime capture card on the market.

Here are your choices under $400
Dazzle II PCI - MPEG 1 & 2 - $399
Hampaugge PVR PCI - MPEG 1 & 2 - $249
Creative Labs Moviemaker UBS - MPEG 1 & 2 - $199
I have the PVR, works great for SVCD's along as you get the Regedit patches from their German Web Site. By the Way PVR stands for Personal Video Recorder, works just like a TIVO system. I would not buy yhis card if you plan to do MPEG1, not a very good producing MPEG1 Quality.
If you need just MPEG1 I understand Dazzle makes one around $100 in USB.
