  1. The subject says it all. What brand cd-r media works best for vcd's?

  2. Uhm. 2 things:

    1-They've all worked equally for me. A CDR is a CDR it seems (unless you buy memorex... lol it's better avoided it seems)

    2-Please explain me how this could possibly be "breaking news"? lol This also has been asked before, and belongs perhaps to the newbie forum.

    Try to post the appropriate forum next time.

    As stated, a CD-R is a CD-R.

    Thus, the best quality CD-R discs arguably make the best VCDs (but only in terms of the quality of the disc -- it should not affect the integrity of the data and hence video quality unless the disc is really screwed).

    I recommended Verbatim Datalife Plus and Kodak Ultimas.

    Some DVD players have compatibility issues with CD-R media. Which media works better then is dependent on the drive, and doesn't really have a bearing on quality of the disc.
