I've tried outputing a wave from TMPGenc first but it's usually terrible. Stutters when put back together.
Kazaa will encode thefile before burning but leaves it with no audio. Isn't there a simple program that just does AVI in, Mpeg out?
Thanks in advance,
J

Click on the tools section on the left hand side of this page. Scroll down to the mpg1 encoders section. Download avi2vcd. This should do it. Unfortunately, the video quality is not very good. How did you separate the wav file from the avi file? Also, if your avi file has audio in it TMPG should be able to convert it without separating the video from the audio. When you load the video file it should also show up in the audio input slot of TMPG.

I've tried avi2mpg and TMPGenc doesn't pull in the AVI file when it pulls up the vid file. I dunno why.
I extracted the wave file by loading the video and then going to save wave. Is that wrong?
Thanks!
