I've started to Rip some DVD's here to save them from my son. I've got a nifty little Sampo with a Hard-Drive, witch is how I play back everything now(it will play any MPEG). My question is for AC3/Dolby Digital(I get a kick out of seeing the Blue light on my Rec.) We I've been able to get the Video down but I'm interested in the the Audio now. Is there any FAQ about the audio portion or a nice post? Thanks.
P.S. I belive I have ProLogic (Stero PCM is what the Rec flashes).

rip the vobs normally
then, in dvd2avi, set dolby digital to demux, rather than decode, and you should be able to get your .ac3 file
