Is there a program that will rip a track out of an .AC3 file without having to re-encode the thing? I have a large file that I want to take the LFE track out of, but the only way that I know of to do this is to convert to multi-track .wav, delete the track, then re-encode back to .AC3.
Since I'm assuming that the .AC3 track is multiplexed, it should probably be easy just to extract or delete one of the tracks. However, I don't know of any tools that can accomplish the task.
