  1. I have been successful with AVI, regular DivX and MPG files converting to VCDs but this is a new one . A movie I have is in the form of 49 divx files .001 to .049 with an .nfo and a . sfv file also.
    Nothing I have touches them.
How to I change such a package into a single .avi or.mpg or even a .bin file to work with so I can convert to a VCD and watch the movie
    Thanks for any help

read the .nfo file (notepad)--that should explain how the movie is packed
I'm pretty sure your file is compressed and split across those files.
    try winrar or winzip.
what are you askin' me for...
    I'm an idiot!

  3. if the files could be decompressed with winrar or winzip..they would have .rar or .zip extensions...they don't.
Also the .nfo file just describes the movie.

  4. It can still be RAR-files if they are numbered like this. Just load the first file into Winrar 3.0 or higher. (be sure to use 3 or higher) and see if it works. If Winrar and Winzip don't work you could try pecks powerjoin or try HJsplit (http://download.com.com/3000-2248-872233.html?legacy=cnet).

    Good luck, Jack
