I found a link from dru500a at DVDplusRW forum who is in Japan now.

    http://www.akibaoo.co.jp/order/frame.cgi?number=52

From the linked page, I can read Taiyo Yuden has 4x DVD-R and the price is 3,199 Yen per 10-pack. That's about US$2.6-2.7 per disk. 4x DVD-R from RADIUS but 2,299 Yen per 5-pack. 4x DVD-R from Pioneer also more expensive than Taiyo Yuden.

    More direct link is here.

Taiyo Yuden 4x DVD-R for DATA

    DVDR-D47TY5P 1,759 Yen
    DVDR-D47WPY10MB 3,159 Yen
    DVDR-D47WPY5P 1,759 Yen

Taiyo Yuden 4x DVD-R for VIDEO

    DVDR-V120TY5P 1,759 Yen
    DVDR-V120WPY10MB 3,159 Yen
    DVDR-V120WPY5P 1,759 Yen

    Google Search Results for DVDR-D47WPY10MB

There are also DVD+R media under the following brand names.

    Maxell (OEM)
    Mitsubishi (makes itself)
    Ricoh (makes itself)
RADIUS (Optdisc OEM it says but isn't it Optodisc made by Ritek?)
    RIDATA (Ritek own brand)
    Smartbuy (Prodisc own brand)
    TDK (makes itself)

More information will be updated here as well.
