Converting several files

I have 5 divx files with ac3 they equal 650mb and im trying to encode the into SVCD the thing is i want to make sure that they all will fit on a single disc so how do i make sure that they will fit on a cd once converted

Take the length of the video you want to put on one CD and use a bitrate calculator (http://www.vcdhelp.com/calc.htm) to calculate the bitrate. Use that bitrate with 2-pass VBR and the final SVCD should almost exactly fill the CD.
