I have a Panasonic DVD-A120U and i am trying to convert some old VHS home movies to VCD to play in my dvd player. I have captured the video and converted to MPEG-1 but now that I have burned the CD's in VCD format with NEro, my player says it cant read the disk. the manual for the player says that it can read VCD though. does anyone know what's up with this?

Check the DVD Players compatibility list.
I have this same player, and the only media I've found that will play on it are Memorex Platinum CDRW's. And it won't play SVCD's at all..
