Backup DVD's Wont Play On XBOX

Hiya all

i do my own backups now of my DVD's! They work on DVD Players, PS2's and PC's but not on my XBOX! Does anyone know why???

The media i use is 'Purple Top Bulkpaq'

I think you need the Xecuter chip for it

Even with a xcuter 2 chip in it still wont play backup dvd movies.
The problem is the dvdrom wich comes with the xbox is sh.t. It only reads certain media.
Been there tryed it.Dont work.
White label dvd-r media seem to work the best.

My PS2 recognizes my DVD+R's no problem, no mods. I got the PS2 back when FFX was first out.. not sure what version of it that I have.

Use the latest version of nero (I think 5.5.10 or something).

This one has a new option "Make it compatable with all DVD players (including XBOX)" check this;

Always remember to burn in UDF/ISO (don't use the wizard, just the template)

That's funny, my DVD-R's work in both my modded Xbox and my friend's unmodded Xbox.

Use TDK DVD-R's and Princo's

Work fine for me.

Probably your media or burn method possibly, not really sure.

Also could be the dvd drive in your Xbox, MS came out with 2 different drives they put in the Xbox. I may be wrong but I think they are Samsung and Toshibas. I do know they put in two different drives though.
