ARG! Confused on this Xvid

I downloaded a screener of the new bond flick in .avi form, went to run it in all my programs but I was missing a codec. Got that but now it wont run at all. So then I spent the last 2 days trying to make it into a SVCD or VCD but still no luck. I wanna make this viewable ASAP, it's kind of a present for a major bond fanatic

Downloading movies that you don't own is wronge. The sooner we stop paying for and supporting movies the sooner they stop making them. Talk about dumb. I like to watch movies, but once people stop making money from them, they can't make them.
If a movie costs 11million dollers to make, and every one downloads it and they make 10million, they loss money. If enough of this happens, all art on the digital medium will be gone. I personaly don't want this to happen.
This goes for video games, music, books, software, and everything that can be made digital.
