Hello,
I tried to make a SVCD with 5.1 mpeg2 audio but the results hasn't been good!!
I follow this steps (I read before the "How to create a SVCD with mpeg2 5.1 sound from avi+ac3" present in the Guide Section of the site):
1) Building with SoftEncode (v1.0 build 19) an Ac3 starting from 6 mono wave tracks;
2) Converting Ac3 to Mpa with ReMPEG.
3) Multiplexing the mpa file with a MPG2 only video through TMPEG;
4) Burning a SVCD with nero 5.5.9.9.

I played the SVCD with my Home Theater System (Sony NS305 & HT-DDW740) and the only channels I was able to hear have been the Right, Center; Left & SW. Totally mute the surround speakers! The decoder didn't detected automatically any Dolby Digital Signal while this happen regularly when I play DVD movies. The only Mode I was able to choose manually has been Dolby Surround Pro Logic but with the results just related!
Did anybody experience anything similar?? Did he solve the problem??
