hey guys I am doing rather well with ripping some dvd's..but I can't seem to figure out how to get the original menu buttons to not work when certain things are ripped...for example.. say in the special features menu it has an extended scenes button, a deleted scenes button and a trailers button.. say I only kept the deleted scenes... You are still able to click on the other buttons but it crashes the dvd player...I know the groups that release dvd-r's can do it to where you click on it and it pauses for a second but then comes back to the same menu no problem. I figure there's gotta be a way in ifoedit.. I hope this isn't too confusing to read hehe thanks for any help you can give!![]()

I'm not an expert but I recall the Stop Playback option in IFOEdit is what you want.. The prevents it from trying to play anything when you select that item.
Waht I would like to know is if there is a way to have the cursor skip right over that spot and not even go to it anymore. This way it's pretty obvious that feature/extra isn't on this disc.
I asked this question before and no one answered so I'm pretty sure it can't be done without rebuilding a new menu yourself...
