The info shows the movie is 29.97hz (NTSC). I get the following error:
MPEG2Dec: Too Much Sample
Try other framerate or
change 'detect/force 24hz' Flag
Anyone know what this means seems like kind of an odd error? I was using the video codec for divX 4.12 and the error seems to imply an MPEG2 error (MPEG2Dec).
What is the implication of encoding the movie forced to 24hz if that is what it is asking? I have no idea what this 24hz refers to I see how to force it though. EDIT: I forced the 24hz and the encoding was able to run but I got the following message:
Warning the output and input frame rate are not equal Pull down (up) will be performed is this a problem or is this a usual thing to have to do?
Is it a problem to lower the framerate from 29.97 that just does not seem like its something I would want to do?
EDIT #2: I played the encoded portion of the movie and the sound is out of sync with the video????
Not sure what to try now.
Thanks
