what does batch encode like encode them all at the same time? or 1 by 1 as you are sleeping? cause usually when i am encoding the movie i am usually doing is open 2 tmpg and encode 2 movie at the same time, and download at the same time. would that affect anything?

If you encode two movies at once doesnt it take forever? Because when encoding one movie it uses almost all of your processor, I can only imagine how long it would take for two at a time.
A batch encode makes almost like a list of what files you want to encode and at what different settings. Then it will encode one after another, one at a time untill they are all done. I set it up to encode two movies left for work and when I came back they were done just as if I had done them one at a time. -
my two cents worth..
Just thought I'd let everyone know that divX v5.0.2 has a bitrate limit set
to it at 2000 give or take. I've done many tests. Coudn't really figure out
why my encodes weren't coming out right, then I did same bitrate w/ v3.11
and filesize grow quite a bit. Then, I realized that v5.0.2 is set w/ a limit,
but I don't actually know the limit, as it may be derived from your particular
source.
I noticed that bitrate stops somewhere around or below 2000.
I don't know if it effects v4.11, but v5.0.2 DOES have a limit, and you may
have to get the PRO (license version) if you want higher bitrate usage turned
on.
Well, the above may be the cause of your "blocks" if it's v5.0.2 that you are using

scotty,
if you wanna be sure its the movie you are encoding, then maybe as an
experiment and D/L the sample divX clips I still have up at my thread
here: VHELP's Samples
Hopefully, you shouldn't see as many blocks (if at all, but then again.. )
I don't know how they compare to the ones you've ben D/L'ing, but I do
hope that my divX samples prove otherwise.
Let me know if they do the same or whatever.

accully the block only happens when i watch the vcd on my dvd player, on the the computer you won't see it.

BATCH ENCODE.......
This does not do 2 at once!!!
It does the first one independently.
Then moves on to the next.
So it doesn't do it any differently than usual.
Just one after another.

i believe Puggsley456 already said that. why not you just read everything before you post man.

Well blimey your an ungrateful s**
I'll remember not to try and help on any of your posts in future.
With attitudes like that it's not surprising posts go unanswered

Whooooooooooah
I wasn't being cheap. I wouldn't of dreamt mentioning the poor English if.....
I hadn't been criticised for trying to help.!!!
So many people complain about their posts not being answered.
I always try to help if I can (with my limited knowledge).
Even though there are so many threads that can be answered by searching the site properly.
Do I say anything NO!!
I JUST HELP
