Hello people,
Have a little question about converting DiVX to (s)VCD...
I aquired a DiVX recently... It plays well, no skips or anything, extracted the audio stream with VDub to PCM WAV.
When I try to load it into TMPGEnc, I get the error: "File "blah.avi" cannot open or unsupported"
I have no idea what to do about it... VDub says it is a MS MPEG-4 3688 V3 Encoded file by the way.

If you get an error message when opening the video or audio like file unsupported [........]
Be sure that you have installed the DivX Codecs (both DivX 3.11, 4 and 5) and also try with the Nimo Codec Pack. If that does not work try to change the codec reader settings in TMPGEnc under Option->Environmental settings->VFAPI plug-in and right click on the DirectShow Multimedia File Reader and increase the priority to 1 or 2 [or higher] and try open the video.
