Currently I am using a Geforce2 GTS card. I want to get a Video Capture Card (to convert my Hi8 videos to digital) and I'd also like to get a better video card (for Gaming). 2 Questions
1) Is the 8500DV a good capture card ?
2) Is the performance any better than GTS?
Just trying to kill 2 birds.......

PS. I appreciate good graphics but I'm not one to get overly excited about insignificant differences. Guess you would call me an occassional gamer but I must say I am getting more intrigued.

8500DV should be a good choice. It has a good accelerator for graphics in games, and has analog/digital capture functionality.
If your wallet can handle it, the 9000 series is even better.
