I have run into this problem a few times now.. When converting a .avi to a .mpg with tmpgenc. I do not understand. Is there something i can do>??? thanks for all the great info in the past..

I had this problem a few weeks ago, and the problem is bad frames in the avi. You have to cut out these bad frames using Virtual Dub. To get more information on this, search for illegal floating decimal point in the forum search. You should come up with alot of hits. Hope you get it working.
