    Does'nt work with Prassi properly. Comes up
    with verify errors and when looking at disc
    underneath surface looks like it has'nt been
    written. Nero successfully works when buring
    with verify on x 1 speed, but will not play on
    PS2.
    Burning as a Dvd works fine though... weird...
    A hit & miss media...

    Cost:

  4. Hey Wildaussie. I'm in Victoria. Here's an update on media I used on my Pioneer A05. I haven't got time to check out the real media ID but here's a brief rundown:

    Melody 2X DVD-R
    Green label
    $2.60 each by 50s
    Burns at 2X with Nero 5.9.17 and Veritas RecordNow and DVDDecrypter
    Works in DVDROM and my Himax and Start (very old) DVD player.

    Datastream (speed not specified but will burn at 2X)
    Silver label
    $3.00 running out of stock I was told
    As above. No problems

    Digimedia White label 1X
    $2.10
    No problems.

    Melody 1X
    $2.50
    May have problems if burnt with Nero.

    Is the tested media you said above, Ritek G03 and princo are burntable at 2x speed eventhough it is only 1x certified.
