Ran in to a small problem after I ripped "proof of life" to my HD with Smartripper. I ended up with 2 M2V files and 1 AC3 file? I still need to rencode to compress it down in size, but what first? I would assume I need to "join" the 2 files 1st, any reccomendations?
Thanks

rip it normally... not demuxed.
then run it through dv2avi.
load the dv2 file in tmpgenc and re-encode to a bitrate that will fit on the
disk (use fitCD to calculate the size).

That has happened to me with SmartRipper too.
I think the setting where it says "max-filesize" needs to be turned up.
And, like dc91gt, I think dvd2avi does it better.
