  1. I notice tht with smartripper when u have it on the movie tab and get ready to rip it.... its a much smaller size then when i click on the files tab which adds another gb to it...... if i rip it just off of movie tab can i stll make it smaller and burn it??????

    Click the stream rip tab in movie mode. It gives you the option to select which streams you want to rip. DVD's contain numerous audio and subtitle streams which if not ripped will make a smaller file on your HD. Selecting only the video,192 bit audio,and "others" wil produce the smallest file size,just be sure the 192 audio is a soundtrack.

  3. well i just riped it tht way and tried using ifoedit to shrink the file size..... after going THRU FUC...IN HOURS OF SUPPOSELY ENCODING it comes back and says tht vob files had someting wrong with them...... so do i need to do something different in ifoedit to shrink files????

  4. The reason movie and files are different is movie mode will rip just the movie,not any extras.

  5. ok THE RIPPER i understand tht.... my thing is when i do strip it tht way is there a way i can shrink the size using a software ???????? when i strip it files way (main way i do it) then i use ifoedit to shrink it down...... so what do i use when i strip it in movie mode?????????
