Trayless burners?

Hi - I recently lost my beloved Velocd to my 2 yr old. Can anyone recommend a good trayless CD burner or combo?

I also have a two years old.. He love to pull those CD tray
and the tray is BLUE too!!

Why not try a tray lock utility such as this one.

I am testing it right now. It appears to work well locking the eject button on the CD rom. I will update you if i find a 'free' app that does the same .

I didn't even think of a software fix - good idea - but don't you think it will be memory resident?

Yes it will be 'memory resident' but that shouldn't be a problem as it only uses less than 0.4 % cpu (on my machine) and when burning you can turn it off .I say this because my burning app (nero) will not respond to a 'manual' eject from the eject buton when it is burning.

Simply load the app when you are away from the computer to prevent little fingers from playing.
