    Has anyone successfully backed up your Gamecube games yet? If so, is it the same procedure as a movie or is something else involved?

  2. I wonder the same for the playstation 2 games... I'm sure it's tricky though. They do use dvd disks. I don't think we'll get a reply in this forum though. We can still hope.

    I thought that PS2 games were DVD as well but according to what I read, only XBOX and Gamecube are DVD. PS2 and PSX are only CD.

  4. PS2 games can either come on Dvd or Cd, some games can be about 4GB

  5. PS2 games can be backed-up simply by doing a 1:1 copy using nero or anything similar.

    Gamecube discs are in some funky format that no-one has worked out yet so it's currently impossible to back them up.

    go to cd-romguide.com you'll find the answer your looking for. and beside i don't think gamecube have a modchip yet.

  8. ps2 games are EASY AS HELL to back up...using NERO its a straight dvd copy...no problems...i use the magic 2 chip so take that into account

    i have not run across a game thats smaller than 1.2 gigs and nothing bigger than 4 gig.......


    as 4 the gamecube shit...i know nothing....sorry

    ps oppzz doing a ps2 disc now, and nero wanted a cdr not dvdr ...hmm must be small, copying on the fly so cant check the exact sixze right now...but have fun....the chip is worth it
